Mash Hockey is excited to announce its first ever girls hockey camp at the Bradford Leisure Centre August 12th-15th!

We have an amazing program planned that you won’t want to miss, including an unbelievable line up of women guest coaches that will make for an amazing camp experience!

We’re all looking forward to helping grow women’s and girls’ hockey in the area!

Mash Hockey All Girls Camp

Individual Skills

Puck skills, skating techniques, and conditioning drills are taught in a progressive format that emphasize how these skills apply to all game situations.

Power Skating

Players will develop a more explosive and lengthened stride, and will be challenged to perform elite level skating maneuvers during in game situations.

Edge Work

We show you how to create power through correct use of your edges. Body positioning and correct technique are vital to creating a good skater.

Agility

Mash Hockey can improve each player’s quickness, balance, speed, agility and power through a series of specifically designed hockey drills and exercises.

Shooting

Skating and puck skills specific to your position, and teaching shooting with techniques and proper execution for your position on the ice.

Stick Handling

Players will learn how to maximize their movements from the skates up to their hands. Players will develop more confidence and overall skills.

Game Situation Drills

Work on skating and puck skills in high tempo, multi-skilled game situation exercises to teach your child how to bring everything they've learned to a real game.

Mentoring

Our mentoring process is where our coaches, with the required skills, knowledge and support help to promote and sustain a player's development.

Guest Coaches

Jessie Eldridge

PWHL New York
Jessie grew up in Barrie, ON and spent her Jr. career with the Toronto Jr. Aeros. She earned her spot on the roster at the collegiate level with the Colgate University hockey team. Eldridge recorded 74 goals and 89 assists, earning the top spot on Colgate's all-time points leader board. In 2022 she played at the International level for Team Canada in the World Championship and won gold! On September 18th, 2023, Eldridge was selected in the 3rd round, 16th overall by PWHL New York and signed a 2 year contract.

Kaitlyn Yearwood

Frölunda HC
Kaitlyn was born in Thornhill, ON and now lives in Barrie. From 2015 to 2019 Kaitlyn played for the Toronto Aeros. She earned herself a scholarship to the University of Connecticut where she played 4 seasons from 2019 to 2023. Following her collegiate career Kaitlyn would sign her first professional contract in Sweden with the Frölunda HC in the SDHL where she played this past season.

Jules Mumford

Carleton University
Jules is a Bradford, ON native who played her Jr. career for the Barrie Sharks in the OWHL from 2021 to 2023. After her Jr career Jules received a scholarship from Carleton University and played her first season at the collegiate level.

Teghan MacRae

Guelph University
Teghan is from Cookstown, ON and also played for the Toronto Aeros. In 2021 after receiving a scholarship Teghan played her first season at the collegiate level for Guelph University. Teghan just finished her third season with GU.
